China News Service, July 19, according to South Korean media reports, the South Korean Joint Staff Headquarters reported on the 19th that as of 8 am that day, the 34th Echelon "Civil and Military Commander" of the Qinghai Forces stationed by South Korea in the Gulf of Aden in Africa had added 179 officers and soldiers. A total of 247 confirmed cases of new crowns have been confirmed.

Another 50 people tested negative, and 4 people have yet to confirm the results.

According to reports, on July 15, the unit had its first confirmed patient. Since then, the unit has commissioned the local health department to conduct a full-staff inspection.

The results showed that 82.1% of the 301 officers and soldiers tested positive.

Korean media reported that this may become the most serious mass infection incident within the Korean army.

In view of the fact that the incubation period of the virus varies from person to person, and there are many confined spaces in the ship, the ventilation facilities are connected, and the officers and soldiers on the ship are not vaccinated against the new crown, the scale of confirmed cases may be further expanded.

The South Korean Air Force sent 2 multi-functional aerial tankers to take all the officers and soldiers of the 34th Echelon of the Ching Hai Force back home.

The tanker departed for the local area on the 18th and is expected to arrive in the afternoon on the 19th.

If progress goes well, all officers and soldiers of the 34th Echelon are expected to arrive at Seongnam Seoul Airport on the afternoon of the 20th.
