Good evening,

There is a big gap between how the coalition of CDU and Greens in Hesse assesses their work after the first half of the legislative period, and the balance sheet of the opposition parliamentary groups. Our state parliament correspondent Ewald Hetrodt has patiently listened to all of this over the past few days, but of course after two and a half years he made up his own mind. In his assessment, he points out that the start of the new edition of the black-green experiment “before Corona” after a food and police scandal could be described as unsuccessful. And how the chapter on the corona crisis turns out depends to a large extent onwhether the State Court of Justice considers the special fund created by the state government to deal with the economic consequences to be permissible or sees it as an unconstitutional breach of the debt brake. Seen in this way, writes Hetrodt, one has to wait until October 27, the day of the judgment, for the actual mid-term review.

At the beginning of the Hessian school holidays, Frankfurt Airport booked around twenty percent more passengers on the weekend than on the previous weekends - but the

120,000 who came and went on Saturday and Sunday are only half as many as at the start of the holiday in the pre-Corona- Year 2019. However, there is as much excitement as in the summer two years ago.

Back then it was the long queues in front of the security gates, today it is the uncertainty of having thought of everything: of the vaccination certificate and the corona tests, of having noted the quarantine rules and the latest information on the risk areas.

David Rech looked around the airport and asked around.

It is no coincidence that the Rhein-Main editorial team is starting the new “Our Frankfurt” series in the Monday edition.

To point out once again how interesting and worth living this city is - for everyone who wants to visit it, but also for everyone who lives in it and in the surrounding area and does not want to travel.

Jacqueline Vogt starts with her recommendation of the five most remarkable hotels - from houses with a great history to hip hostels.

And in addition, the Hessischer Rundfunk closed last year with a minus of around 90 million euros +++ in Hanau there is hardly any doubt that a coalition of SPD, CDU and FDP will come about +++ Katja Winter has thought about it why women still pay significantly more at the hairdresser than men, even for a simple short hairstyle.

Take care of yourself
