At the time of the pre-trial investigation, both participants in the attack, who are employees of the Service, were suspended from work, ”the Interfax-Ukraine department quoted a statement.
SBU intends to assist the investigation in order to establish the details of the incident.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said that unknown persons attacked the Ukrainian border guards near the border with Russia and took away their service weapons.
Subsequently, the weapon was returned.
