Today, Sunday, Afghanistan summoned its ambassador and other senior diplomats in Islamabad, following the kidnapping of the daughter of its ambassador to Pakistan, and "as long as threats to the security of these people remain," according to the Afghan Foreign Ministry.

The Afghan Foreign Ministry added in a statement that it had summoned its ambassador and senior diplomats to the capital, Kabul, until the security threats ended completely, and the perpetrators were arrested and punished.

The Afghan Foreign Ministry said in a statement, "After the kidnapping of Silsila Ali Khel, the daughter of the Afghan ambassador to Pakistan (Najibullah Ali Khel), the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan recalled its ambassador to Kabul and other diplomatic officials in Islamabad as long as threats to their security remained, which includes the arrest of the kidnappers. and pursue them.”

She added that an Afghan delegation "will go to Pakistan in the near future to assess and follow up on these issues. In light of what is achieved, additional measures may be taken."

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry described the decision in a statement it issued as "regrettable" and said it hoped the Afghan government would reconsider it.

Also in Pakistan, the Interior Ministry said Prime Minister Imran Khan considered the matter a top priority and said he had requested that the perpetrators be arrested within 48 hours.
