German citizen Fadima Kroll, owner of a livestock farm in the Turkish state of Antalya (south), began offering sheep for sale in the sacrifice market, a few days before Eid al-Adha.

Fadima Kroll, who lives in the Alanya region of the state, is known as "Aga Khanum" (The Lady Aga). Krul, a 51-year-old German mother of three, settled in Alanya after retiring from her country 6 years ago.

Kroll decided to rent the house she had bought in the area, to cover the expenses of her children's education, and moved to live in a mountain house, where she began working in the field of animal husbandry.

The German citizen began her working life in Alanya by raising goats and two chickens in her mountainous country house. Through her determination and diligence, she was able to achieve success in the field of livestock breeding, where she was able to expand her work and establish a farm with 350 lambs and 50 head of livestock.

And just before Eid al-Adha, Kroll would get up every morning before sunrise and take care of her animals, as well as display the best ones at the sacrifice market.

We feed on the love of animals

In an interview with Anatolia, Kroll said that she has become one of the girls of the "Yuruk Turkmen" (the local population of Alanya), and is very interested in raising livestock and sacrificial animals.

She added that she moved from Germany to live in Turkey, and is ready to endure and face the hardships of life in order to provide the appropriate environment for the growth of her children, stressing her love for taking care of animals.

She added, "I started my practical life by raising goats and two chickens in my mountainous country house. At first, no one noticed the efforts I made to develop this business, as I continued to do so in order to provide for my needs and the needs of my children."

"I actually had a lot of support from the local people, because I was the only woman working in this field, everyone helped and supported me," she said.
