The number of corona cases in the US has tripled over the past three weeks and both hospitalizations and deaths have increased among the unvaccinated, reports the news agency AP.
According to the CDC, 99 percent of deaths and 97 percent of hospitalizations are among people who have not been vaccinated.
According to US President Joe Biden, incorrect and false information about corona on social media is a major problem.
When asked directly by a reporter what he wants to say to platforms like Facebook regarding the issue of corona misinformation, he replied:

A spokesperson for Facebook has commented on Joe Biden's criticism that they work hard to remove false and incorrect information from their platforms.

Facebook has previously stated that they have removed over 18 million posts with misleading information about covid-19 and vaccines.
