The Syrian President outlines the features of the next stage in his oath speech

On Saturday, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will be sworn in to start a new seven-year term after winning the presidential elections that took place at the end of last May.

Syrian sources told the German news agency that Assad will perform the legal Yemen in the People's Palace in the presence of members of the People's Assembly, members of the government, political, media and religious figures and others.

The sources explained that the oath's speech includes drawing the features of the next stage, especially after Assad chose the slogan (Hope for Action) for his electoral campaign and leaves the executive authorities to work on implementing it, most notably fighting corruption and benefiting from the country's resources.

The sources said that “the oath speech tomorrow, Saturday, will be completely different from the content of the oath speech in 2014 due to the change in the field and political conditions after the government forces regained most of the lands that were under the control of the Syrian opposition.

On the political side, the sources confirmed that al-Assad's speech may be conciliatory after the heat returns to the lines with a number of Arab countries.

The sources indicated that the oath's speech may be escalating towards Turkey, whose forces are present in large areas in northern and eastern Syria.
