“We are now working not so that one force in Afghanistan overpowers another,” RIA Novosti quoted Lavrov as saying.
According to him, this will be a fragile, volatile and temporary solution.
He noted that Russia's efforts are aimed at a dialogue that will lead to a political settlement and will include all political, ethnic and other groups in Afghanistan.
Earlier, Lavrov said about the rapid degradation of the situation in Afghanistan.
