The Acting Director of the General Department of Traffic in Dubai Police, Colonel Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, confirmed that Dubai Police is working to achieve the highest levels of safety on the road, and to spread comfort and reassurance in the hearts of its users, through its field presence at all times to ensure smooth flow of traffic, and prevent Vehicles piled up on the road.

He explained that the General Traffic Department has developed a number of traffic scenarios and plans that contribute to the smooth flow of traffic, prevent traffic jams during the Eid Al-Adha holiday and the events accompanying it, reduce the chances of traffic accidents, and cover the events in a manner commensurate with their importance.

He explained that the administration has formed teams of traffic patrols, traffic sergeants, and support patrols to regulate traffic in markets and crowded places, in addition to the presence of traffic men in external streets and places with dense population to prevent the phenomenon of random crossing, and intensified patrols during the evening period to monitor vehicles and bicycles that commit violations dangerous traffic, in order to reduce negative behavior.

Bin Suwaidan pointed out that the Traffic Awareness Team of the Campaigns and Traffic Awareness Department will distribute congratulations cards, sweets and gifts to the public, starting from the morning of the first day of Eid al-Adha, to celebrate this occasion, explaining that the cards contain awareness phrases, instructions and advice.

Bin Suwaidan called on the public to abide by traffic rules and regulations, cooperate and respond to the instructions and instructions of traffic men.

For his part, the Director of the Dubai Ports Police Center, Colonel Dr. Hassan Suhail Al Suwaidi, confirmed the intensification of maritime security patrols on the shores of the emirate, whether on foot, bicycles, motorcycles, cars or boats, during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, to enhance security and safety, and ensure compliance In accordance with the instructions and requirements of public safety, in addition to ensuring the implementation of the precautionary measures taken by the state in order to combat the Corona virus.

He also affirmed the readiness of the maritime security patrols to secure maritime navigation and monitor violators, in addition to the full readiness of the maritime rescue teams, 24 hours a day, to immediately intervene and respond to emergency maritime accidents.

Al-Suwaidi called on members of society to adhere to the precautionary measures when heading to the beaches, maintaining physical distance and wearing masks, noting that they will take the necessary measures with everyone who violates the laws and requirements of public safety.

For his part, the head of the Maritime Rescue Department, Lieutenant-Colonel Ali Abdullah Al-Naqbi, indicated that there are nine concentration points for maritime rescue in Dubai, where maritime rescue divers are distributed at the highest level of training and qualification to immediately intervene with marine accidents, whether at sea or on beaches, to The side of readiness and readiness of boats, water and bicycles.
