“The Sputnik V vaccine is currently undergoing a rolling review process at the EMA, and this process will continue until sufficient evidence is collected to apply for registration.
So far, such an application has not been submitted, ”the press service of the regulator told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said that the approval of the Russian vaccine against the Sputnik V coronavirus abroad is being hampered by the Western pharmaceutical lobby.
The fund noted that they are working closely with the European Medicines Agency in order to promote the drug in Europe.
