Florian Philippot, 39, left the FN in the fall of 2017. He has since founded the Les Patriotes party.
His list obtained 6.95% of the vote in the regional elections in June in the Grand-Est region.

He wishes to promote with his candidacy the departure of France from "all the supranational bodies which do us so much harm: ECHR, NATO, European Union, Schengen ..." And to underline: "The will to leave France out of the European Union , the "Frexit", is fundamental for me.
