15 July 2021 A 15-year-old Venetian students are stranded on the Greek island of Ios, because some of them have tested positive for Covid.

The young people, who have decided to go into self-isolation, do not know when they will be able to return home, the families explained, arguing that the Greek authorities would not have provided information to their children or any logistical support. The young people, all with at least one dose of vaccine already made - reports the Gazzettino - were alarmed when a girl from the company began to suffer from a slight malaise, with fever. Without the swabs, 5 tested positive for Covid.

The group, which was celebrating maturity, should have returned to Italy. However, their general conditions are good, and every day they keep the families informed of the evolution of the situation. The families report that the local health authorities have so far not carried out any checks on the boys.
