Bastrykin put under control the case of the threat to the life of a child in Irkutsk

He shouted, demanded a meeting with his wife and threatened to dump the child.

The head of the Investigative Committee also put under control checks on several incidents that appeared in the media, the department specified.

"Alexander Bastrykin put all the initiated criminal cases and procedural checks under control in the central office of the department and instructed the leadership of the territorial investigative bodies to report on all the above facts," the statement on the website of the Investigative Committee says.

On July 13, it became known that a criminal case had been opened against the man.
