It was at 11.17 on Thursday that an SOS alarm was received about a single accident in a small town in Ydre municipality.
According to the first information to SOS, it must have been a person on a quad bike who was affected by the accident.
At 11.45 the police arrived at the scene and according to Thomas Agnevik, press spokesperson at the police region east, it must have been a man who was affected and he should not have been conscious when the police arrived.
- It is a man who drove against a live lamp post with electric cables in it, says Thomas Agnevik.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance from the scene.
The damage situation is currently unclear.
The quad bike has been seized for technical investigation by the police.
