The Emergency Management Department sent a working group to the site of a tunnel construction site in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province to guide the rescue and disposal work

  At about 3:30 on July 15, a tunnel construction site next to the Gardens of Jida, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province suffered a flooding accident, resulting in 14 people being trapped.

  After receiving the report, the emergency management department immediately video-dispatched and guided the rescue work, connected with the main responsible comrades in Zhuhai City on the scene, and required full efforts to search and rescue the trapped persons, quickly set up a professional rescue headquarters, organized professional forces, scientific safety rescue, and organized medical forces Do everything possible to treat the wounded; strengthen the management of on-site rescue order to prevent secondary accidents; find out the cause of the accident as soon as possible, learn profound lessons, and hold accountable in accordance with laws and regulations.

The Emergency Management Department, together with the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, sent a joint working group to the scene to guide the rescue and disposal work.

  After the accident, the local fire rescue team dispatched 19 vehicles and 100 people to participate in the search and rescue. The Emergency Management Department immediately organized and mobilized surrounding rescue teams and related professional equipment to the scene.

Currently, search and rescue work is underway.
