July 14, 2021 The Senate elected Igor De Biasio and Alessandro Di Majo as members of the Rai Board of Directors.

De Biasio got 102 votes, while Di Majo got 78 preferences.

20 votes instead went to Giampaolo Rossi.

The votes lost were 12, the blank ballots 13 and the null ballots 34.



Alessandro Di Majo


Born in 1968, Alessandro Di Majo graduated in Law in Rome with a thesis entitled 'Moral copyright and cinematographic work', has been practicing as a lawyer for about 25 years. He was a councilor at the Court of Cassation following an appointment for 'outstanding merits' by Presidential Decree, he was judge of the Sports Guarantee Board at Coni, Of Counsel of the Tonucci & Partners law firm and liquidator of trust companies in compulsory administrative liquidation on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Development.



Alessandro Di Majo, since 2020 a director of Adir le Assicurazioni in Rome, has carried out and continues to carry out the function of arbitrator (also as President) and Secretary of Arbitration Boards. In particular, he was a member of the Arbitration Board of the National Professional League of the Italian Football Federation. And again, bankruptcy trustee on behalf of the Court of Rome and special trustee on conflicts of interest between directors and companies by appointment of the Court of Rome. Alessandro Di Majo has been an adjunct professor since April 2, 2021 of 'Labor law in the digital economy' at the Uninettuno international telematic university in Rome (Faculty of Law). And he is an adjunct professor of 'Sports Law' since March 2020, again at Uninettuno,but in this case the Faculty is of Economics. In addition to lectures on copyright, corporate law, sports law, bankruptcy law, civil law and entertainment law at various Masters, A. Di Majo has published five monographs that also touch on IT law and communication law. Igor De Biasio


Multifaceted manager with international experience Igor De Biasio is now in his second term on the Rai Board of Directors. From the digital economy to the media, born in 1977, he is married with 3 daughters, born in Milan but originally from Veneto. Graduated at the age of 23 in Political Science at the Catholic University of Milan (110/110), he achieved three post-graduate specializations: in Marketing (Bocconi), Marketing and Digital Economy (Cattolica di Milano) and Design Thinking (Politecnico di Milano). After a few years of managerial experience in multinational consulting companies, he becomes a manager at the age of 35 at Philips SpA, where he assumes international responsibilities in the Mediterranean area and at 39 he becomes commercial director of Europe, Africa and the Middle East for Moleskine. At 40, in July 2018,the Chamber of Deputies elects him on the board of directors of Rai SpA resulting in the most voted among the selected candidates. In 2019 he was appointed CEO of Arexpo SpA and is now back on the board of Viale Mazzini.
