Poland will buy four battalions of American Abrams tanks

This is reported by PAP with reference to the head of the ruling party of Poland "Law and Justice", Deputy Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski.

“Our army will soon, if everything goes well, next year it will receive the latest version of Abrams tanks,” he said.

He noted that Poland will buy enough tanks to create four tank battalions.

We are talking about a modification of the M1A2 Abrams SEPV3 tanks.

Earlier it was reported that Washington has begun deploying the Aegis Ashore missile defense system in Poland.
