An important gendarmerie device was set up on Sunday in the small town of Sauvain (Loire).
A rave party took place from Saturday evening on this site of the Natura 2000 protected network. About 200 people from all over France took part in this free party.
“Following calls from residents, the soldiers of the Montbrison company, supported by the road safety squadron and by the Saint-Etienne company, initially stopped the party before seizing equipment on the road. order of the prosecution ”, explains Monday the gendarmerie of the Loire on his Facebook account.

All participants were checked when leaving the site, late Sunday afternoon, with their car.
The gendarmes specify that 20 licenses were then suspended, namely 17 for driving under the influence of drugs, and three for driving while intoxicated.
About fifteen vehicles were immobilized, as “no passenger was able to get behind the wheel”.
Many participants therefore had no other choice than to leave Sauvain on foot, and some “in the direction of Grenoble”.
Another party animal has had a hell of a time to wrap up his weekend.
By trying to bypass the military controls in place, he ended his race by wedging his Peugeot 207 in the ditch.
