A plane carrying 500,000 doses of the "Covid-19" vaccine has arrived in Tunisia, provided by the UAE to the brotherly Tunisian people to support medical efforts in the country.

The provision of this support comes in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to enhance the health conditions of the brotherly Tunisian people in the face of the Corona pandemic.

His Excellency Rashid Mohammed Al-Mansoori, the country's ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia, said in a statement... that the wise leadership's directives to send doses of "Covid-19" vaccines... come within the framework of the UAE's support for the brotherly Tunisian people in facing the health conditions that Tunisia is witnessing as a result of the Corona pandemic.

His Excellency the Ambassador of the State explained that it is not the first time that the UAE has provided medical support to sisterly Tunisia, as it sent, during the month of November 2020, an aircraft carrying urgent medical materials, which included 11 tons of medical equipment, examination and diagnostic devices, as well as artificial respirators, mobile units for this purpose and protection tools. and protection for medical personnel.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, recently received a phone call from His Excellency Qais Saeed, President of the sisterly Republic of Tunisia, about the developments of the pandemic and the efforts of the two countries to confront it and contain its repercussions.
