"The Russian side proposed to create a Russian-Egyptian contact group for constant monitoring of the situation and exchange of information related to Russian tourists," the Rospotrebnadzor said.
Head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova held talks with an Egyptian delegation headed by the Minister of Antiquities and Tourism of Egypt Khaled al-Anani.
The head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova also took part in the negotiations.
An agreement was reached that Russia will send a delegation to Egypt to assess the epidemiological situation.
