Putin spoke about the Union State with Belarus

“We with Belarus say:“ Union State ”, but in the literal sense of the word it is not a state, it is just a certain level of integration,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Putin noted that the European Union has a much deeper level of integration than Russia and Belarus within the Union State. 

Earlier, the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Vladimir Makei, in an interview with RT, told how he sees the development of relations between Belarus and Russia.
