"He wants to be a reformer to the end"

"We can see that we are already in the logic of the presidential campaign. He wants to be a reformer to the end," says Yves Veyrier, referring to a president who "wants to demonstrate that he does not let go of his project of pension reform ". While Emmanuel Macron announced Monday that the pension reform would be "initiated as soon as sanitary conditions are met", the secretary general of FO notes that the head of state is nevertheless "forced to underline the seriousness of the situation sanitary ". A contradiction, he said, insisting on the "combative" image that Emmanuel Macron wishes to send, who cannot however advance on the moment when the project in question will be launched.

"Me, I warned: if this pension reform returns, we will consider it unfounded", insists Yves Veyrier, who promises that the unions will also be "combative". And to add: "The priority today is the question of employment and the inequalities of professional career which generate difficulties on pensions. It is not the current pension system."
