July 13, 2021 The table of the Ministry for Economic Development on the Gkn dispute in Campi Bisenzio (Florence) will be held on Thursday July 15, in presence, at the prefecture of Florence, as requested by the workers' assembly, and not by videoconference, as originally planned.
This was announced by Deputy Minister Alessandra Todde explaining that "after having heard the parties and the prefecture, I decided to convene the Gkn table directly in Florence".
There will also be the leaders of Gkn Driveline Firenze at the table organized by the Mise on July 15 in the prefecture in Florence. This was announced by the same company. Gkn informs, in a note, that it has given availability for July 16 to the trade unions and RSU to "start the discussion regarding the decision to cease the activities of the Campi Bisenzio plant, as communicated by registered letter, pec and e- mail, with the formal opening of the collective dismissal procedure in full compliance with the rules.
