A mass brawl of migrants from Central Asia, in which more than 200 people participated, took place in the Moscow district of Kuzminki on the night of July 12-13.

According to preliminary data, the conflict between the natives from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan began at about 23:30 Moscow time.

The videos, filmed by eyewitnesses of the incident, show how the participants of the fight, filling the section of Zelenodolskaya Street near the Kuzminki metro station, shout, fight and run out onto the roadway.

Police and Rosgvardia officers arrived at the scene to separate the migrants.

After the appearance of law enforcement officers, the participants in the scuffle ran to the metro.

Eyewitnesses told on social networks that, despite the huge number of police cars pulled onto Zelenodolskaya Street, there were so many detained that there was not enough space for them in the paddy wagons.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow reported that 103 people who participated in the conflict were taken to the territorial police departments.

They explained that in relation to the violators, protocols were drawn up under Art.

18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation ("Violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules for entering the Russian Federation or the regime of stay in the Russian Federation"), Art.

20.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Petty hooliganism") and Part 6.1 of Art.

20.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, meeting, demonstration, procession or picketing”).

"A number of foreign citizens, by a court decision, will be expelled from the territory of the Russian Federation with the imposition of an administrative fine, and a decision will be made against a number of persons not to allow entry into the territory of the Russian Federation," the ministry's press service said.

According to media reports, some of the participants in the fight were injured - they were taken to hospitals with cut and lacerated wounds.

Local residents said that before the arrival of law enforcement agencies, the migrants managed not only to frighten bystanders, but also to damage the cars parked near the site of the collisions.

“And everyone will continue to tell you how wonderful the newcomers behave?

When about 150 people rush, hit cars, attack people? ”- wrote a local resident in the Kuzminki group on VKontakte.

Causes of the conflict

Law enforcement agencies have not yet reported on the alleged reasons for the fight in Kuzminki - police officers are conducting an inspection.

Meanwhile, some media outlets write that the scuffle began with a stabbing: allegedly unknown persons - presumably Tajiks - attacked two natives of Kyrgyzstan and stabbed them.

According to this version, on July 11, Kyrgyz couriers were attacked because of a remark they made to their fellow countrymen, who were resting in the company of natives of Tajikistan.

In response, the companions of the girls allegedly attacked the young people with knives.

The video with the victims, recorded in the ambulance, was distributed in chats in messengers, and the Kyrgyz allegedly decided to "avenge their own people."

The chairman of the interregional public organization "Kyrgyz Unity" Abdygany Shakirov, in an interview with RT, expressed the opinion that the video with the injured Kyrgyz was the cause of the mass brawl in Kuzminki.

“They filmed a video from the ambulance.

This information was circulated on social media and the reaction led to such an unpleasant incident.

The society does not particularly check when and where this video came from - maybe it was a year ago at all.

They don’t look at it, but such a reaction happens, ”Shakirov stated.

"You can't keep track of everyone"

Representatives of the Kyrgyz and Tajik diasporas in Russia also note that one of the reasons for the mass brawl in Kuzminki was the general increase in tensions between the two peoples after another aggravation of the conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.

“I think the reason is the conflict on the border,” Abdygany Shakirov said.

- Of course, it would be wrong to say that there is no tension.

Migrants who work in Russia have a grudge, but I really hope that there will be no more conflicts in the future.

I hope that friendship and peace between our countries will be restored.

We, as an organization, are conducting outreach work.

When there was a problem at the border, we got together and met with the leaders of the diasporas. "

A similar opinion was expressed by the chairman of the Union of Tajiks of Russia Abdullo Davlatov.

“The events that took place at the border are haunted here.

Before that, there was no such tension, '' the interlocutor of RT said.

- Clashes between Tajiks and Kyrgyz occur sporadically, local clashes occur.

But nevertheless, they came here to work, in this country they were accepted, they are given jobs and everything else, but instead of appreciating it, they are doing these things. "

Davlatov added that both diasporas and the Moscow authorities are trying to prevent any clashes between the natives of the two countries, in particular, holding meetings and conversations during periods of aggravation of relations between Bishkek and Dushanbe.

“The Moscow authorities and law enforcement agencies are making attempts to prevent these conflicts, but, unfortunately, they still arise, and you cannot keep track of everyone,” he stated.
