  Zhao Lijian said that China has been actively supporting and participating in the "New Coronary Vaccine Implementation Plan" and has announced the supply of vaccines to the "Implementation Plan", mainly for the urgent needs of developing countries.

Sinopharm Group and Kexing Company were approved by the WHO for emergency use certification on May 7 and June 1 this year, respectively, to organize and coordinate production guarantees as soon as possible, and actively negotiate with the "Global Immunization Alliance" on the supply of vaccines.

According to the purchase agreement signed by the two parties recently, the two companies will provide 110 million doses of vaccines to the "implementation plan" in the next four months and reach an intention for long-term supply of vaccines.

This is another practical action taken by China to fulfill its promise as a "global public product" for vaccines, promote the fair distribution of vaccines, and help the global fight against the epidemic.

  Zhao Lijian pointed out that the world is still in the midst of a pandemic of the new crown pneumonia, and vaccines are the most powerful weapon to defeat the epidemic.
