The 32-year-old man who has been charged with the murder of a man in his 30s living in western Sörmland has received his sentence: life imprisonment.

The murdered man was found dead in a car in Ändebol south of Katrineholm in December last year.

The man had been cut and stabbed with a knife in the car, and was later found dead in the trunk of the car.

The 32-year-old suspect, who is a resident of Norrköping municipality, has now been sentenced to life in prison for murder by Nyköping District Court.

The man must also pay almost SEK 145,000 in damages to the murdered man's relatives and estate.
