▷ Youngjin Joo/Anchor: Then, viewers, the most important and most curious thing is what CEO Lee Jun-seok thinks about the current situation, isn't it? Joo Young-jin's news briefing, I had an interview with Lee Jun-seok last week, and I called Lee Jun-seok. I don't know if it's connected. CEO.

▶ Jun-seok Lee/CEO of People's Power: Yes, hello?

▷ Youngjin Joo/Anchor: Yes, hello? It looks like you've got some spare time. Thank you.

▶ Lee Jun-seok / People's Power Representative: The time has come.

▷ Youngjin Joo/Anchor: CEO Junseok Lee, let me ask you a question like this. Was there any reason to make an announcement yesterday through spokespersons? Wouldn't there have been no such controversy if the two representatives had explained themselves?

▶ Lee Jun-seok / People's Power Representative: Yesterday, the host of the dinner was representative Song Young-gil. That's why we were originally in charge of any form of press conference or anything like that on the host side, so yesterday we did that in the form of an announcement by the spokesperson through the speakerphone. So, if it was an event within our party that was a little unusual for me, obviously, after I said it, I would have gone through a so-called back briefing, in which I answered and elaborated on the reporters' questions, but he told me not to do that. So I tweaked it a bit because I was a Democrat-led host in that format.

▷ Young-Jin Joo/Anchor: Then did you see the article as soon as yesterday's briefing came out saying that it was an agreement to pay the national disaster aid?

▶ Lee Jun-seok / People's Power Representative: Yes, I saw it.

▷ Youngjin Joo/Anchor: Then the title came out a little different from what the two representatives talked about and agreed, didn't you think like this?

▶ Jun-seok Lee/CEO of People's Power: For me, on this issue, CEO Song Young-gil and I sat down and wrote down the text of our agreement on paper. But I think it was item 3 in my memory, but it is in front of the current plan to expand support for small businesses rather than the current plan, that is, the Democratic Party and the government plan. After that, depending on the corona situation, we will review the disaster support payment from 80% to the entire nation. That's why I saw this first because the two are in a somewhat bilateral relationship. In the end, if we are to expand support for small businesses in the front, we can understand the transition from 80% to 100% method. So I think that it is a situation that is not too unreasonable from our point of view, I saw it like this.

▷ Young-Jin Joo/Anchor: Then, CEO, I am curious about your opinion about the two reactions. First, let me ask you about the Democratic Party's reaction. The Democratic Party overturned the agreement with the power of the people in 100 minutes. Isn't Lee Jun-seok's new politics finally reaching a limit? There have been quite a few critical comments, but what do you think of the Democratic Party's response?

▶ Lee Jun-seok / Representative of People's Power: The Democratic Party wants to conduct such a political offensive like the Democratic Party, but if you look at what was announced yesterday, you can see that Yo Yong-jin, the spokesperson for the Democratic Party, said that this issue is a guideline between the representatives anyway and should go through consultation within the party I have a word. That's why I have such a huge burden that the Democratic Party has to persuade the government if the current negotiation plan is going on. Right now, Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki is protesting against this. I said that it was a bilateral relationship, but if I cannot persuade Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki to significantly expand support for small businesses, I will understand that it is difficult for us to understand the part about the payment of disaster aid to the public and the entire nation, which we understood later. because it is Right now, when I was discussing with CEO Song Young-gil yesterday, one of the things that CEO Song suggested was that 1.2 trillion won in card cashback has become meaningless now. I did that because of the quarantine situation, but I thought that I could add 1.2 trillion won to the support of small businesses first, but that's why Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki is against it. So, I wonder if it would be difficult for the Democratic Party to convince the government to carry out any such bilateral agreement.

▷ Young-Jin Joo/Anchor: You are constantly emphasizing that there is no difference of opinion or difference with the leaders of the floor, including Kim Ki-hyun, floor leader of the People's Power, is that clearly the case?

▶ Jun-seok Lee / Representative of the People's Power: So, as spokesperson Ko Yong-jin said earlier, in the spirit that this matter will eventually be decided by the party's negotiator, we will meet at around 8:10 and 20 minutes after our meeting is over. I asked to meet with our floor leaders right away at 9 o'clock, so we talked about this issue and came up with what our final negotiation plan was. Now, the Democratic Party says they have changed their minds in 100 minutes. Based on those guidelines, we went straight ahead and talked to our leadership, the in-house leadership.

▷ Young-Jin Joo/Anchor: Then, Rep. Yoon Hee-sook and Rep. Jo Hae-jin yesterday strongly opposed it. It's been a month since Lee Jun-seok took office as imperial representative and imperial leadership, and it's probably the first time you've heard such aggressive remarks from within the party. Isn't it something we need to prepare for once, such as asking for a little understanding, making an apology, or giving an explanation for what happened?

▶ Jun-seok Lee/CEO of People's Power: First of all, I would like to have the imperial leadership. As for the negotiation, rather than imperial leadership, CEO Song Young-gil came out yesterday with a proposal that was not completely consulted with the ruling party and the government. Also, from my point of view, in the proposal made by Song Young-gil, I prepared and presented a negotiation proposal that does not go against our party's theory. Of course, there are two party theories in our party. First, one party's argument is to expand support for small businesses as much as possible. And there is one party's argument that the consumption-stimulating disaster subsidy is to be minimized, but in fact, it is difficult for these two parties to coexist, if they go to negotiations.

So, we focused on supporting small business owners, and I proposed a negotiation proposal, which of course has to go through the process of additional ratification later with our floor leaders or lawmakers. This is to say that any negotiations are impossible in the future, and I want to say that our party members still call and communicate with me and talk a lot with me, but I also want to tell you that if there are any shortcomings in the communication process this time, we will improve it in the future.

▷ Youngjin Joo/Anchor: It's been a little over a month since you took office, how is it? How important communication is more than anyone else, especially when an article comes out through a briefing on reporters and what kind of reaction comes after the People's Power lawmakers and party members read it, and our CEO, Jun-seok Lee, must know better than anyone else about this process yesterday. Do you have any regrets that something was not delivered properly?

▶ Jun-seok Lee / Representative of People’s Power: I have a lot of regrets. However, because of Corona, we simply read and deliver 7 items to the spokesperson through speakerphone. Originally, it was supposed to be a seat. There was a misunderstanding that could occur in such a situation. However, there are comments criticizing him as an immediate reaction, and I think that there is a problem with the communication structure within the party. For example, none of the people you mentioned don't know my phone number. So now, ahead of the upcoming presidential election or such process, Chairman Song Young-gil, as the party's leader, has made some decisions about issues that have not been fully negotiated within the party or with the government, and I have made some decisions about that. To hold a meeting between any representatives without a degree of freedom or that degree of empathy. In the future, in a situation like this, I literally have to become a person who follows orders, not a representative, but I think that I need to secure some sympathy for that.

▷ Youngjin Joo/Anchor: I see. CEO Jun-seok Lee, let's have a TV discussion with CEO Song Young-gil yesterday. This talk came out in a public place earlier, did you two come up with a concrete plan while talking?

▶ Jun-seok Lee/CEO of Power of the People: We had several proposals coming in from broadcasting companies, so we said the best proposal among them. When CEO Song approached him with such an open attitude, he spoke with this purpose.

▷ Youngjin Joo/Anchor: I see. We look forward to seeing Young-Jin Joo's news briefing, an opportunity to have a more in-depth discussion with the two representatives soon. I heard you well today.

▶ Junseok Lee / Representative of People's Power: Thank you.
