The Russian leader noted that in official negotiations, especially after the "pulling back" from the West, the representatives of Kiev periodically declare that they are "fully committed" to the Minsk agreement.
At the same time, in fact, Kiev is guided by the position of the "unacceptability" of these agreements, Putin added.
According to him, Kiev does not intend to seriously discuss either the special status of Donbass, or guarantees for the people living there.
The Russian President said that the Ukrainian side prefers to exploit the image of a “victim of external aggression” and “trade in Russophobia,” and also arranges bloody provocations in Donbass.
According to the Russian leader, in Kiev "by any means they attract the attention of external patrons and owners."
“Apparently, and more and more I am convinced of this: Kiev simply does not need Donbass,” the Russian leader wrote.
He explained that, firstly, the residents of Donbass will never accept "the order that they have tried and are trying to impose by force, blockade, threats."
“And secondly, the results of both Minsk-1 and Minsk-2, which give a real chance to peacefully restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine, by directly negotiating with the DPR and LPR through the mediation of Russia, Germany and France, contradict the whole logic of the“ anti-Russia ”project, - Putin said.
He noted that the "anti-Russia" project can only be supported by the constant cultivation of the image of an internal and external enemy under the control of the Western powers.
Also, Putin said that Russia has never been and will not be "anti-Ukraine".
