At the beginning of the new week, people in Hessen can expect inconsistent weather.

After a bit of fog on Monday morning, it will initially be clear and dry during the day, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach.

Temperatures reach 25 to 28 degrees.

In the course of the day the clouds condense, on Tuesday night rain comes in from the south.

Thunderstorm heavy rain is sometimes possible.

In the second half of the night, according to the DWD forecast, rainfall of up to 50 liters per square meter can fall in a short time.

Tuesday begins cloudy with rain showers, later thunderstorms are expected, especially in the southwest. Temperatures range between 19 degrees in the southwest and up to 26 degrees in the northeast of the country. On Wednesday, too, it remains inconsistent with rain showers that sometimes last for several hours.
