The minibus carrying 12 people from Anapa to Nazran drove into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a car with a trailer, after which a wheel flew off from the latter, damaging the third passenger car.
“As a result of the bus accident, seven people were injured, of whom three died, including two minors aged 8 and 14,” the prosecutor’s office reported to RIA Novosti.
All victims were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
It is noted that a criminal case was initiated against the bus driver under Part 5 of Art.
264 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Violation of traffic rules, resulting in the death of two or more persons").
The accident happened on the P-217 Kavkaz highway.
Earlier, one person died as a result of a collision of a car with a passenger "gazelle" in Kabardino-Balkaria.
