At around 7:40 am western time on the 11th, Virgin Galactic's spaceship 'VSS Unity' is loaded onto the mothership and takes off into the sky.

After reaching an altitude of 88.5 km at a speed of Mach 3, Unity, separated from the mother ship, experienced a 'microgravity' state with almost no gravity for about 4 minutes, and landed safely in about an hour.

The star of this first space tour test flight is Richard Branson, a 70-year-old British billionaire and founder of Virgin Galactic.
