It was at 15 o'clock that the alarm came and it was about a woman who is believed to have been stabbed somewhere on Djurgårdsvägen on Djurgården.
- We receive information that the victim has been injured with a sharp object.
She has been taken to hospital by the police patrol where they will try to find out what has happened, says Towe Hägg, the police's spokesperson.
The police are initially investigating the incident as an assault, but there are no suspects at the moment.
The woman's injury situation is unclear, but it should not be life-threatening.
