It is not clear why the woman read in the medical records during the period 22 - 25 January this year and whether it is one or more patients.

The other regionally employed woman has behaved aggressively and insultingly towards her boss, it is stated in the written warning from the human resources department.

The woman has also not followed the rules regarding sick leave and has not come to meetings with the manager to whom she has been called.

The two women are now at risk of being fired if they do something similar in the future.

Another high-profile case has been reported to the police

In June, SVT Nyheter Jönköping reported that the region reported to the police after several hundred care employees logged in to a medical record for a child who was initially suspected of having been abused by his parents.

The criminal suspicion against the parents was then dropped, but the parents believe that care employees logged in illegally in their son's journal out of curiosity.

But the region believes that they follow their routines.

In the clip below, you hear the mother who reported the region to the police tell.

There is no connection between the healthcare employee in Eksjö who is now being warned and this case.
