In the first case, 1.6 million people will be infected and 35,024 people will die; in the second case, 2.4 million people will be infected and 52,536 people will die.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that in order to reduce the spread of the new crown virus and avoid severe illness among infected persons, it is necessary to continue to strengthen multi-departmental coordination among the three levels of government, control community transmission, detect cases in time, and strengthen the response capacity of the health sector.
