The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, will make public today a "strong" remodeling of the Executive that only affects the socialist part, as the Ser chain has advanced and socialist sources confirm to EL MUNDO.

After several weeks working on the changes, it was finally yesterday afternoon when he communicated it to his hard core in Moncloa and the third vice president and Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, who is his interlocutor in the coalition government with United We Can.

Sánchez has decided not to open a debate with Podemos about his quota in the Government and to limit only the changes to the socialist portfolios.

All purple ministers remain in office.

According to the sources consulted, the president could not wait any longer, due to the concern that the changes had generated among his ministers and the constant questions from the press, and has decided to undertake it now, despite the fact that in recent days the debate on whether it would be better to wait until September and bring the socialist crisis closer to the PSOE congress scheduled for October.

The PSOE has just canceled this morning the presentation of an affiliation campaign, in charge of the Secretary of Organization and Minister of Transport, José Luis Ábalos.

Initially this day had been reserved for a match event with Sánchez but throughout the week the plans were modified.

The chief executive, who has been on a tour of the Baltic countries from Tuesday to Thursday, has avoided contact with the press during this time in order not to offer any clues about the remodeling.

Something that already happened during his visit to Argentina and Costa Rica, about to approve the pardons to the independence leaders.
