Euro2020, Gravina: "The national team unites the country"

10 July 2021 "We are proud of the enthusiasm that the national team has generated in the Italians, it represents a great responsibility that the Azzurri live with pleasure. This rediscovered love between Azzurri and his supporters must however be lived with conscience, without risking one's own health and that of others. It is nice to share the passion for this national team, but celebrations of any kind must be carried out safely and according to the indications of the competent authorities ". This was stated by the president of the FIGC Gabriele Gravina, who on the eve of the final against England thus invited all fans to follow all safety regulations.
The national team has arrived in London and, after the press conference by coach Roberto Mancini and captain Giorgio Chiellini, will support the finishing training on the pitch of the Tottenham sports center.
Gravina, upon the arrival of the team at Luton London airport, also focused on the referee controversies that followed the semi-final between England and Denmark: "Having reached the final is a great result, we will do our best to bring the Cup in Italy. The controversies about the risk of a possible referee to the detriment, however, do not honor our sporting tradition and risk diverting concentration and attention from the extraordinary sporting party that will be Italy-England ".
