(Fighting New Coronary Pneumonia) 6 new deaths from the epidemic in Taiwan

  China News Agency, Taipei, July 10th. The Taiwan authorities’ "Pandemic Epidemic Command Center" announced on the 10th that 33 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, including 31 local cases, and 6 new deaths, of which 2 cases were 30. Many years old, is currently the youngest two cases of death in Taiwan.

  According to reports from Taiwan media such as Central News Agency, United News Network, and China Times News Network, the command center stated that the new local cases were 17 males and 14 females, aged between 10 and 70 years old, and the onset date was June 22. Until July 9.

In terms of geographical distribution, there are 13 cases in Taipei City and New Taipei City, 2 cases in Taoyuan City, and 1 case in Keelung City.

The source of infection in 8 cases is unknown and is still under investigation.

  The new deaths were 2 males and 4 females. The date of death was between July 6th and 8th.

Among them, two deaths in their 30s had a history of chronic disease. One person passed away due to a worsening condition; the other died by suicide in the ward due to emotional instability.

  The command center stated that the number of cases in Taiwan has dropped from a few hundred a day to more than 30. The epidemic situation has improved, and epidemic prevention will still be difficult in the future. It called on the public to take preventive measures.

  So far, Taiwan has confirmed a total of 15,218 cases and 736 deaths.

Among them, 13,966 cases were confirmed locally and 728 cases died.
