Mikael Stenhem would have preferred to see the downward trend continue, but at the same time can not point to any specific reasons for the change.

Important with two doses of vaccine

Now the region expects the new delta variant to take over and dominate the spread of infection.

So far, only four cases of delta have been found in Sörmland, but the statistics are lagging behind and Mikael Stenhem thinks it is important that those who can get vaccinated against the disease do so - and also make sure to take two doses.
