12 gunshot wounds were found on the body of the President of Haiti, who was shot and killed by assailants at the private residence of the villagers.

Haiti's martial law authorities have so far arrested six assassination suspects and announced that seven have been killed.

Two suspects in the assassination of Haiti President Zvnel Moise are transported to a police truck amid protests from residents.




Hundreds of people gather around the police station where the suspects are detained and protest strongly.



[Haiti resident: Those people killed the president. The police found them and put them in jail, so we'll make them suffer. We will burn (suspects) today.]



Haiti Police said they have caught 6 suspects and killed 7 people so far as to assassinate President Moise.



It also announced that "more suspects are hiding in two buildings and are besieging them."



Haiti authorities said the suspects were "highly trained foreign mercenaries", but the exact identity or motive of the crime is still unknown.



The gruesome assassination situation is slowly coming to light.



Haiti's local media reported that 12 bullet marks were found throughout the body of President Moise.



The daughter saved her life by hiding in the room, and the housekeeper was rescued from captivity.



The first lady, who suffered a gunshot wound, was transported by air ambulance to a hospital in Miami, USA, and is being treated, but it is said that she is in critical condition.



Haiti Prime Minister Claude Joseph announced that he would hold a second round of voting in November after the first round of voting in the presidential and general elections on September 26.
