The Gigafactory of batteries for electric cars will take place in Italy in Termoli. This was stated by the CEO of Stellantis, Carlos Tavares, opening the Electrification Day dedicated to the group's strategy for electrification, for which a substantial investment is announced: "over 30 billion euros by 2025 in electrification and software, maintaining exemplary efficiency for the automotive sector, in particular with an investment efficiency 30% higher than the sector average ". The goal is for electrified vehicles "to represent over 70% of sales in Europe and more than 40% of those in the United States by 2030".
