“Racism has no place in this room and has no place in Spain”.
These are the words of Serigne Mbayé, Podemos deputy in Madrid since June 2010. The Spaniard of Senegalese origin responded to a racist accusation from the parliamentarian Rocio Monasterio on June 18: “It is a person who entered illegally in our country ”.
Arriving in Spain in 2010, Serigne Mbayé has since worked, created a business and hired people while paying his taxes, like all Spaniards.
The deputy is engaged in the fight against racism and in the defense of human rights.
