On July 7, local time, a container ship exploded in the Jebel Ali port of Dubai, UAE. A huge fireball illuminated the night sky, and many places near the explosion area felt tremors.
At present, the fire has been brought under control, and the incident caused no casualties.
The fire set off shock waves throughout the city, and buildings and windows were shaking in an area 25 kilometers away from the port.
The person in charge of the Dubai Government Information Service stated that a container on the vessel that caught fire was loaded with flammable materials.
