The new premises are being built because the region has seen an increased need for care for new technology that requires more space.
There are six floors that will be built on top of the emergency room at Falu Hospital.
The construction is planned to take about 2.5 years and be completed in the spring of 2025.
How do you ensure that regular care can continue during the construction period?
- It is a challenge to ensure that patients receive the care they need during the construction period. I feel safe with the contractor who has been given this assignment that they will safeguard patient safety during construction, says Sofia Jarl.
