Attention is drawn to a video of an Indian child holding a yellow stick and 'pointing' at adults.

On the 7th local time, foreign media such as NDTV, India, introduced the story of a 'barefoot kid' living in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh.

The video, which has recently become a hot topic on social media, shows a bustling downtown area with a large crowd.

It was difficult to find a person wearing a mask, even though the passers-by were moving slowly.

Then a child approached passersby without a mask.

And I shouted, "Why didn't you wear a mask? Please wear a mask."

The child with a yellow stick the size of his own pointed at the adults one by one and proudly asked, "Please wear a mask."

Parents who brought young children of the same age as their children left their seats in embarrassment, and some ignored the child's request.

Some passersby threatened, including grabbing or trying to steal the child's stick, but the child did not give in and continued to shout "Mask!"

The netizen who released the video pointed out, "This little child who didn't even wear shoes was telling adults to wear a mask. Who learned and who didn't?"

Other netizens also left various reactions such as "There are too many irresponsible people who do not wear masks", "You should be ashamed", "This little kid is doing things that most adults can't."

Local police have found the protagonist of the video, 5-year-old Amit.

It is known that Amit has been selling miscellaneous goods such as balloons on the street to help with household life that is difficult to buy shoes.

Amit, who dreams of becoming a police officer, explained that he saw too many people not obeying the officer's command to 'wear a mask', so he started talking to passersby to help the officer.

Citizens moved by Amit's story are supporting Amit by sending shoes and clothes for the Amit family.

A donation campaign to raise Amit's tuition was also held online.

Local police authorities announced that they have appointed Amit as an ambassador for COVID-19 quarantine guidelines.

This is a 'news pick'.
