On July 7, local time, the "Changci" freighter, which was blocked due to grounding, officially left the Suez Canal.

Egypt’s Ismailia Economic Court agreed on the 6th to lift the seizure order of the "Longgi" and allow it to leave the canal on the 7th at the request of the Suez Canal Authority and continue to the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

The heavy cargo ship "Longci" flying the Panamanian flag ran aground on the new channel of the Suez Canal on March 23, causing the channel to block.

After rescue, the stranded freighter successfully lifted off on March 29.

Due to the shipowner’s delay in paying compensation, the Ismailia Economic Court approved the detention of the freighter in April.
