The company Technodinamika Holding, which is part of the Rostec State Corporation, has developed a parachute system for dogs - it will help a person to quickly land with a service dog in hard-to-reach areas. The new system is expected to be operational by the end of 2021. In the footage released by Rostec, test aircraft demonstrate the mechanism of the new invention - the suspension system is designed to land a paratrooper and a dog of any breed weighing up to 45 kg. It has the appearance of a sturdy vest and firmly fixes the animal's spine to the man. Before the jump the dog is trained - he is not fed and watered for some time before the flight, said test pilot Yury Mironov.Alexei Kozin - Tekhnodinamika's chief designer for the parachute schemes - specified that after launch, the dog behaves "properly and normally", and after landing it is ready to perform its assigned tasks. "When the parachute turns left, right, the dog carefully observes the surrounding environment. Even from a height of 3 thousand meters it already sees the Earth. It was thought that they could not see that far. In fact, they have some thoughts and start to move his paws, trying to land, "said paratrooper Andrei Toporkov. Kozin notes that if the tests are completed this year, the system will be adopted by the Ministry of Defense.landing is ready to perform the tasks assigned to him.
