"In connection with the continuing rise in prices in the construction market and related markets, FAS Russia instructed its territorial offices to inspect large construction organizations and manufacturers of basic building materials for reasons for the increase in prices for relevant products in the first half of 2021," the FAS said.
It is specified that the main building materials include concrete, brick, wood materials and PVC products.
In order to control prices for them, the territorial bodies of the FAS will also conduct regular monitoring.
Earlier, the FAS commented on the situation with tariffs for utilities in the regions.
