July 05, 2021A professional golf player, Gene Siller, was shot dead on Saturday on the green of a country club in Kennesaw, US state of Georgia, and two others were found dead in a pickup truck. -up in the same structure.

The police are looking for a suspect who, at the moment, has lost track.

Cobb County Police received a report of a murder early Saturday afternoon and, arriving at the scene, found Siller lifeless on the green near the 10th hole of the Pinetree Country Club. He was unconscious with a "gunshot wound. apparent fire in the head "and was pronounced dead on the spot.  



The 41-year-old player, married and with two young children, worked for the club and may have been killed, according to investigators, for approaching an intruder who came to the green in a white Ram 3500 pickup. The suspect would then have fled on foot; police discovered the truck still on the lawn. On the floor were the corpses of two men, with obvious gunshot wounds. One of the men has been identified as the owner of the vehicle, Paul Pierson, while the other victim has yet to be identified. The Georgia State Golf Association and PGA of America President Jim Richerson have expressed their condolences for Siller's death. The player's family created a GoFundMe page for financial help.
