The leader of rebellious deputies Jean-Luc Mélenchon wonders Monday evening about the merits of the possible obligation to vaccinate caregivers, in a series of questions addressed to Prime Minister Jean Castex.

The boss of rebellious deputies and the vice-president of the group Mathilde Panot respond in a letter to the consultation launched by the Prime Minister with parliamentary groups and associations of elected officials, with a view to a possible bill on the subject.

Why compulsory vaccination of caregivers "and not other categories in contact with a large public such as teachers or parliamentarians?" Asks the LFI group.

"What reasons would France have for no longer following the recommendations of the WHO against the obligation to vaccinate? Why don't you tell us? Don't you regret not having followed the advice of the WHO when she enjoined you to test en masse and that you claimed that it was useless? ", launch the rebellious deputies.

The generalization of the health pass?

"What will happen to the people who do not have it or who cannot access the means to benefit from it?"

ask M. Mélenchon and Mme Panot again.

"Make the obligation to isolate patients binding? You are not telling us how this would be implemented for those who would not be able to do so at home. Therefore, what is the meaning of the question? propose to reverse it: make it compulsory for the State to offer each infected person the material and health conditions of isolation? We would agree! ", add the rebels.

They also wonder about government measures in the event of a new epidemic wave.

They propose to the government the creation of a "parliamentary organizing committee for the fight against the pandemic" rather than relying on the Defense Council.
