Euro 2020: rupture of the Achilles tendon confirmed for Spinazzola

05 July 2021Leonardo Spinazzola underwent an operation this morning for the reconstruction of the left Achilles tendon in Finland.
The intervention, performed by prof. Orava and Dr. Lempainen, it went technically well. The player will be back in Rome in the next few days and will begin the recovery process which will take at least 6 months.
In the event of Italy's final at Euro2020, the player will join the Azzurri at Wembley. "I thank everyone for being close to me, you are so many! The countdown has begun, see you soon", wrote Spinazzola on Instagram.
